On Sunday, the Roy Gibb skipped team also containing Bas Dynan, Graham Goudge, and Richard Corry extended their good start to the men’s club fours out to 3 wins from 3 games, and with a healthy differential of +23. They beat the Ray Martin fours team by 5 shots in the afternoon and had a Gibb extends to 3 from 3

Women’s club fours

The women’s club fours was won by Leigh Griffin, Helen King, Yvonne Gibb, Kay Carr Helen’s 39th club title (the most anyone has ever won at Victoria) Leigh’s 35th club title Kay’s 22nd club title Yvonne’s 6th club title Leigh & Helen’s 12th club fours title, equals them for the most alongside B.Morgans Kay’s 11th Women’s club fours

First 2019-20 club champions

The first club champions for the 2019-20 season were found on Saturday, with the women’s fours being won by Leigh Griffin, Helen King, Kay Carr, and Yvonne Gibb.

Congratulations to Richard Corry for retaining the North Wellington Open Fours indoor bowls title at Onepoto today and thereby winning his 4th North Wellington title. He played with Sam Anderson (was Horowhenua but now playing for North Wellington this year) who was steady throughout despite being on crutches from a hockey injury, Marcus Trlin, and Well done Rich!
