Awesome day for Victoria interclub! Women’s Prems won 3 with 3 bonus points at Tawa!! And that was with three juniors in the fours team. Men’s Prems won at top of the table Stokes Valley. A signature win there in the singles for James Fairhall against one of NZs best, Finbar. Fours held on for Fantastic Interclub Round 6

Great last round of interclub

Sensational end to the last interclub rounds for Victoria today with both women’s and men’s teams needing solid days to make the Top 4. The men, WOW, won 6 out of 6 to go from playing to make the top 4, to WINNING THE LEAGUE!!! That means the playoffs are at home. The women smashed Great last round of interclub

Marcus Ruane in winning College Sport Wellington side

Well done to Marcus Ruane for winning in the College Sport Wellington bowls. He won the Judy Howat Cup triples, playing with other promising young bowlers, Marshall Kenny and Lily Signal. They were playing for Upper Valley who won the overall title.

Interclub Round Two

Women’s Division 1 A huge win for the Women’s Premier team as they got two wins vs long rivals Johnsonville. Just like Round 1, it was wins for the singles and pairs that got them home. The finalists of the Men’s Club Fours have been found: Ray Martin, Lou Newman, Robert Gray, Colvin Inglis vs Ben King, Laurie Guy, Ian McLeod, Frazer MacDiarmid On a tricky sandy surface, the high-flying Roy Gibb skipped team suffered a heavy defeat in their final match vs King, which left them third on differential.
