Open Day: 1pm this Sunday 6 October
1pm this Sunday we are open for the Bowls Wellington “Ready to Roll” day, which is for people wanting to try lawn bowls. Anyone who has played before is welcome to come up for a game too. You don’t need bowls or any gear, just turn up and we’ll look after you. Great for the…

New amenities
Good news! The club has obtained a well overdue new pool table, and also new gas heaters (upstairs & downstairs). Tip: The gas heaters have a label on the cord that describes how best to turn them off.

Great work today by club members who were able to give their time today to help out at the working bee. A great display of teamwork and camaraderie. Thanks! And extra thanks to Nina for the food!!

Opening night – Friday 13 September
Opening Night for the 2024-25 season is on Friday 13 September 2024 from 5.00pm – 9.00pm. All members, and anyone looking to take up the game of lawn bowls either competitively or socially is welcome to come to Opening Night.

Play got underway this morning at 11.30am thanks to good work earlier getting the overnight water off the green. Adam Newman got a good win over Colvin Inglis in the club singles, 21-8.
